We take all steps necessary to ensure your privacy. We will not solicit any of your information or make your account public. The only way another person can view your account is by you sending them a personal invitation to do so. After you have sent them an invitation, through email, MyLifeHereOnEarth.com will validate they are the invited viewer before allowing them into your account. Do not share your MLHOE password with anyone and store it in a safe place.

No account on MyLifeHereOnEarth.com can be public until 18 years after their date of death. With this guideline, any minor children in a person’s account will be 18 years of age before the account is set to public viewing.

No persons under the age of 13 may set up an account in MyLifeHereOnEarth.com. Your parent or guardian must set up your account as a sponsored account.

A MLHOE ID is an id number that will remember you. Every registered user of MyLifeHereOnEarth.com will be issued a MLHOE ID. Keep this in a safe place and request that your MLHOE ID be on your headstone after your time here on Earth has passed and any other memorials for you.

Go to the log in section on MyLifeHereOnEarth.com and click on the word (Forgot?) after Password. You must enter the MLHOE ID you received when you signed up for your account. Once we receive your request we will send you an email containing your password information.

All users are prohibited from adding any copywritten materials, nudity, violence or other subjectable matters in their account. Please read section 7 of our Terms and Conditions policy titled Content/Activity Prohibited.

You may upload any size file you want, but be aware that depending upon your internet connection the larger the file size the slower the upload process will be and the more space you will use.

This is your life bar. When you enter events in your account, pieces of your bar will change color (blue) to show that you have an event entered in that year. When you mouse over the blue bar, it will show the year. If you click on the blue bar it will show all the events you have entered for that year. It also shows how old you are by years and days. The bar starts with your birth date year and ends with the current year.

1. Create a New Event. When you click on this you are able to create a new event. Just fill in the fields and click Create Event. You must do this before you can upload any type of documents (pictures, video, sound or documents) to this event.
2. Manage Sub-Categories. When you click on this you will see all the category titles you will be able to add events to. From here you can add subcategories to all of your categories. This will make it easier for you to manage your account. Example: There is a category titled Family…you may want to add the following subcategories; Parents, Grandparents, Husband or Wife, Children, Grandchildren, Sisters and Brothers, etc. We recommend that before you add events to your account that you take a few minutes to think about your life and what types of sub-categories you will need and add them. To add a sub-category all you need to do is click on New after the category you want to add the sub-category to. Fill in the title of the sub-category and click on the Add Sub-Category. You may add sub-categories at any time.
3. Latest Events Entered. When you click on this it will display the last events you entered in your profile.

1. Home. When you click on this it brings you back to the main page of the event entered. Use this instead of the back symbol on your browser.
2. Edit Event. When you click on this it will take you back to the screen that you entered your event in. You will use the Edit Event option if you need to make changes to the information you entered in the event. Once you have made your changes, click on the Update Event button and your changes will be saved.
3. Add a document. This is where you go to add any file type to your event. (Acceptable file types are listed in the General Question Category) You will be given the option to enter a title for the file you are uploading then you will see the Browse button. Click on this button and find the document you want to upload. Once you have found the document, double click on it and notice that the documents path filled in the box to the left of the browse button. Now you have the option to enter a description on the document you have selected. This is optional as well as the title. Now all you have to do is click on the Upload Document button. Note: a document can be any file type; pictures, videos, sound, or documents.
4. Share Event. This is what you will click on to make an event shared with other users. Once you click on it, notice it will now say Event Shared. The only users that will be able to view your shared events are those you invite. They will only be able to view the events you have marked as Shared Events. To remove it from being a shared event, simply click on Event Shared and it will change back to Share Event, meaning it is no longer shared.
5. Delete Event. If you decide you want to delete an event you’ve entered in your profile, click on this option. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this event before it is deleted from your profile.

MyLifeHereOnEarth.com sorts your documents by their extension and places them in the appropriate places. Example; if you enter a document with the extension .jpg it will place these documents in your Picture folder. All of your pictures for the event will be placed in your Picture folder, any videos you upload will be placed in your Videos folder, and music or sound files you upload will go in your Sounds folder, and any documents you upload will go into your Documents folder. You may only upload (1) file at a time but you may add as many documents to an event as you’d like.

Once you start adding events to your profile you will notice that this box shows you the Categories and sub-categories you have events entered in. Example: If under Family you had (3) sub-categories titled parents, children and grandchildren and you had an event entered in all of them it would display as such:

Children (1)
Grandchildren (1)

The number after the sub-category reflects the amount of events you have in each one. You may click on the events and or sub-categories to see the events within them.

Log into your account and go to the My Friends section. Click on Invite a Friend and fill out their full name and email address and click send. Once they accept your invitation you will be notified by email and they will show up on your friends list.

You can click the Resend button and see if they respond. If they don’t you may want to call them and ask them if they received your email invitation. Make sure you have their current email address since people change their email addresses often. If their email address is different than the one you sent it to, just click on the Edit button, make your changes and hit send again.

If someone invites you to view their account their name will be listed in this section. If you decide that you would like to view their account you must accept it in order to view their account.

Once you have finalized the process of inviting a friend, or vice versa, their name will appear in this area. This will help you keep track of your friends easily. If you decide you do not want to let them view your account anymore, then all you have to do is click the Remove Friend button after their name. You will also be removed from their friends list.

MyLifeHereOnEarth.com will display the most recent entries that your friends have entered in their accounts. In this section we will only display three of your friends, showing the dates/times of their most recent updates. This will keep you in tune with your friends lives.

It’s simple. Just click on their name under the My Friends button. Notice that when you do this you will be directed to their account.

This feature is for the picture that will be displayed on your account above your name, date of birth and MLHOE ID. You may change this anytime you wish to by clicking on Add/Edit My Picture and uploading a new picture.

This is where your account information is stored. It will show your date of birth, MLHOE ID, address, email address, and username and password. If you move than we recommend that you update your physical address. If you change your email address it is very important that you make this update also. Should you decide to change your username and/or password then this is where you would make that change.

You will go here to choose the size pictures you want to upload to your account. We have a recommended/default size to get the most out of your (meg) space but you may choose any size you would like.

MyLifeHereonEarth.com wants every life to be remembered from their date of birth to their date of death. We recommend that you treat this like you would all of your other possessions, include it in your will along with your username and password and have an assigned person go in and enter your date of death.

A sponsored account is an account set up by an individual other than the account person. A person may set up a sponsored account for a minor or a deceased person.

First off, you must have an account set up for yourself. Secondly, all you need to do is log into your account and click on "My Sponsored Accounts" underneath the Sponsor Account Options. Now all you have to do is click on "Sponsor an Account" and go through the same sign up process as you did when you set up your account.

Yes. On your My Sponsored Accounts button in the My Sponsored Accounts section will be a list of all the names of your sponsored accounts. For more information on Sponsored Accounts, log into your account and view the information in the My Sponsored Accounts section of your profile.
